We're at a place called Beluga Lookout but haven't seen any sign of a whale.
Well, unless I look in the mirror, but that's a story for another day.
We think those mountains are Redoubt and Iliamna, but could be wrong.
It has happened. Hard to believe, isn't it?
Turn around to the left and see this. I did go outside for the pictures because our windows are too dirty to see much. All those gravel and construction roads have not been kind to Homer,
but there is more to come so why bother now.
There is a full day of activity planned in and around Kenai - I hope I can keep up. Maybe there will be a bakery on the route. Chocolate chip cookies work wonders.
