Elkhart is the manufacturing center for most Recreational Vehicles built in the U.S.
They even have a museum and here are just a few of my favorite displays.
I kept looking for Lucy and Ricky's Long Long Trailer, but it must be in Hollywood.
Oh, how things have changed for the better. Maybe some day Homer will be in a museum, too.
Elkhart also manufactures half of all band instruments in America, but trade secrets prevent them from allowing factory tours. Darn. I really wanted to see a trombone in production.
