May the Fourth Be With You

Yes, I know that I used that phrase one other year, but still like it.  So there.

Yesterday we played with Issie and Kim and took a stroll through the botanical gardens
 at MSU in East Lansing.

I can't remember ever seeing a Bee Hotel, but they all seemed very happy to have checked in.
Most  of them were out doing what bees do.

Meet Wilbur, the proud peacock.

Enjoy whatever festivities you have planned to celebrate our nation's Independence and take time to be very grateful for all the sacrifices that the founding fathers made so we can enjoy all the glories of America.  Don't forget the mothers who were home tending the fires and feeding the children and writing all those eloquent letters to their hubbies who were arguing in Philadelphia and fighting for the future.  God Bless the USA!
