It's been a peaceful and moderate summer in Sequim, not much to report.
We took pals along to celebrate the monthly Costco hot dog birthday dinner -
The volunteer poppies put on a display at the old house -
Lots of celebration for 250 years of God Bless America -
(FYI - the big wreath is two pool noodles wrapped with garland because I just won't spring for a huge $tore bought one that large, but next time I'll put wire inside so it holds its shape better. You're welcome.)
Al dismantled two planter boxes he built in the front yard (of the old house) -
Lavender season came and went at the more than 30 farms in Sequim -
(and in the old yard, but only a couple scraggly plants in the new yard)
Bob and Laruel visited on their annual PNW summer tour -
Ornaments got finished -
Chrissy and Marco have officially become the bon bon chefs -
Al keeps working on his backyard Parklett -
Even though it didn't get very hot all summer, there are a few tomatoes -
And tons of artichokes by the funky fence the resident recycling carpenter built.
Autumn is knocking on the door - maybe there will be more to report so don't give up on me.
